Philip studied at the Swiss Hotel Management School and Court of Master Sommeliers and completed his studies in London, where he worked for a year at the Dinners by Heston Blumenthal in Lauceston Place, where he had the opportunity to work with Piotr Pietras, the second best sommelier in Europe and the sixth best in the world. In 2019, he returned to Portugal to take up the position of sommelier at Alma restaurant, a position he held until the end of 2021 to join Kabuki Lisboa.
